The Ruffled Duck
November 28th, 2008 at 06:24 pm by Alan in Accomodations
The Ruffled Duck Inn is a bed and breakfast nestled in the historic district of the charming Eastern Shore Village of Oxford, Maryland. This completely renovated historic inn is the light hearted vision of yachtsmen Libby and Danny Cole. The blending of traditional and eclectic décor throughout the inn reflects their lives on the water as well as the rich history of the village that was once Maryland’s largest port of call. A great experience for those seeking the solitude of a small town getaway. Visit the The Ruffled Duck for more information.

A nice place to stay

Looking for a vacation spot right in downtown Easton for a week or two (or three). I’d try the Shannahan Brown House. This late Victorian residence is located in the heart of historic Easton, and takes one back to a bygone era. The house has recently come alive, as the owner has furnished the house with many period pieces and items collected while living in the Far East. Guests remark that they enjoy the ambience of staying in a well loved home, rather than in a vacation rental or an inn. Give them a look-see at http://shannahanbrownhouse.com/
