Salisbury University is where I earned my business degree, although it was called Salisbury State College at the time. At this time they boat 42 Undergraduate programs, 13 Graduate programs and 5 Post Baccalaureate programs with an enrollment of about 7,500 students - about 85% of which are Maryland residents.  They rank high in best colleges across the nation and best financial values for education. - Visit their campus.

In the early to mid-1850’s, Queenstown was a stop for many steamboats, which would bring goods to the town and carry passengers up and down the Chester River and to Baltimore. Today, agriculture and seafood harvesting are the dominant economic factors in the area. Retail shopping outlets, located in Queenstown, and the Queenstown Harbor Golf Links, adjacent to the Town, are thriving and bring many visitors to the Town. It also had the distinction of being  the first and only town in Queen Anne’s County to be attacked by the British during the War of 1812. Visit the Queenstown website.

Ballet in MarylandFounded in 1991, Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit ballet company that was formed by a local group of culturally minded people who wish to provide a classical venue for area dancers and raise awareness of the art of dance. In just a few years, the company has gained statewide recognition for its annual full-length December presentation of The Nutcracker ballet and an impressive repertoire of ballets performed during the Spring Gala.
